Not all used Subaru vehicles qualify for CPO status. They must meet some strict criteria before they can be certified. The vehicle can be no older than five years and have no more than 80,000 miles. It must pass a 152-point inspection. Any worn parts are replaced, so that your vehicle feels like new.

When you get a CPO Subaru vehicle, you also get the remainder of the original bumper-to-bumper warranty if any exists. The CPO model comes with a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty as well with no deductible. If you have a covered breakdown during the warranty period, you are protected with roadside assistance and rental car reimbursement.

You can upgrade from the basic CPO benefits by adding other components, such as lodging and meal reimbursement to the trip interruption component. With the Gold Plus plan, you add more features, which turns it into a bumper-to-bumper warranty for seven years or 100,000 miles.
