Every day when you look outside, there's a problem that's waiting to be solved. Without initiative, funding, and backing though, you're going to have a hard time dealing with even the smallest issues that society faces. This is why Subaru isn't afraid to take a step forward and lend a hand. During this year's Share The Love Event, Subaru will be partnering with the various organizations below. For more information on how you can get involved, you can visit us at Jenkins Subaru of Ocala.

Meals On Wheels America
Americans work hard for their paychecks, but what happens when you can't work anymore? A lot of senior citizens are unable to do a lot of the labor that they once handled in their youth. This can make it hard for them to make ends meet, which is where Meals on Wheels America comes in. Through community-based programs, this organization fights hunger with one meal at a time. This isn't the only goal of this organization though, as it also seeks to combat the feelings of loneliness that a lot of seniors deal with. With over 4.3 million meals delivered so far, this charity is wasting no time.

The ASPCA
It's easy to see when someone is down on their luck, but it can be harder to spot the difference between a thriving cat and a stray one. There are a lot of animals that fall through the cracks and most local governments simply don't have the resources needed to save with them. The ASCPA works hard to combat this issue, and through their help, they've managed to help more than 116,000 animals find a new adoptive family. This organization does a lot more than that though, as they also work to save animals from abuse and they even lobby for more humane laws and practices.

The National Park Foundation
If you live near The Villages, Ocala, or Gainesville, then you know how great the city can be. Still, you might occasionally find yourself wanting to get away to the wilderness. Models like the Forester, the Outback, and the Crosstrek were built on this idea, which is why Subaru is proud to be the largest corporate donor to the National Park Foundation. Through their various projects, they're currently protecting over 400 national parks and they're also educating the next generation on top of it, as they consistently do youth outreach. If you care about nature, then this is a great charity to support.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation
There's a good chance that you've heard of the Make-A-Wish Foundation before, as they've been helping children with critical illnesses for years. Their goal is to make dreams come true, and over the last few decades, they've managed to grant wishes to over 3,300 children. These wishes aren't all the same though, as some kids want to meet Spiderman while others are looking to travel to new and exciting places. As the largest automotive donor to Make-A-Wish, Subaru understands the importance of this mission. You'd be surprised by how much hope a child can gain from one new and exciting experience.
